Last February 10, 2015, SMDI Consultants, Inc. and PTV Asia-Pacific conducted the VISSIM and VISTRO Seminar at the Ateneo Professional Schools Amphitheatre in Rockwell, Makati. The seminar’s objective was to present the latest explorations in VISTRO and VISSIM. These softwares are invaluable tools that will allow users in various government, private and professional organizations to undertake a comprehensive evaluation and assessment of various transportation planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure projects to benefit the communities they serve. There were 35 participants from educational institutions (DLSU, Mapua), private real estate firms (Filinvest, Ortigas & Co, Rockwell Land, SMDC, Vistaland), PICE, engineering firms (Fildravo, Philkoei, SMEC, TCGI), traffic signal suppliers (KIV, TSCC) and government agencies (MMDA, DPWH). The main speaker was Ms. Karen Giese, Director of Global Business Development of PTV for Vissim and Vistro.
