February 23, 2021: Online presentation and awarding ceremonies of the PTV Junction-In-Motion. Organized by PTV Group Asia Pacific, SMDI Consultants and TEAM Group of Thailand invited graduate students and individual young professionals from the Philippines and Thailand to participate in the month-long competition held from November 2 to December 11, 2020. Participants were tasked to create a microsimulation model of an intersection considering the impact of the new normal lifestyle. This activity served as an avenue to explore the use and applications of Vissim.
After rigorous research and model building, Engr. Ralph Luis Cardaño was awarded Best Overall and Engr. Czyrone Angelo Galang First Runner-up for the Young Professionals category (both from the Philippines).
