Client: Robinson’s Land Corporation
Location: Marcos Highway, Pasig City
In its effort to address the concerns over the ability of transportation and traffic systems to keep pace with the growing developments, Robinson’s Land Corporation (RLC) commissioned SMDI in 2000 to conduct a comprehensive traffic study for Robinson’s Place in Pasig City. The study area is located at the former site of Uniwide Sales Warehouse Club along Marcos Highway, near the boundaries of the three towns of Marikina in the North, Pasig on the West and Cainta on the South. It is bounded by the two major thoroughfares of Marcos Highway in the north and Imelda Avenue in the East. The study objectives are to: assess the external road and parking access arrangement and entry/exit locations in conjunction with internal circulation; formulate appropriate traffic management measures to mitigate potential traffic problems; and establish the traffic level and configuration based on the development type and scale.
