Traffic Study for Plaza Luisita Commercial Center (1997)

Commercial development is closely related with traffic generation and attraction both in terms of persons and vehicles. Providing effective traffic management facilities in a commercial area should be given much consideration in order to ensure a smooth movement of traffic within the vicinity of the said area. It is along this context that Luisita Realty Corporation commissioned SMDI in 1997 to conduct a traffic impact study for the Plaza Luisita Commercial Center (PLCC).

The study established the current traffic conditions in the PLCC, based on traffic surveys conducted and determined the traffic impact of future developments being proposed for the area and its environs. Traffic improvement measures were recommended to address possible issues of concern that will arise as a result of these developments.
