Supply-Demand Study of Passenger Bus Transport (1999)

This study was conducted by SMDI in 1999 for Argosy Partners to establish the supply and demand on fifteen (15) selected inter-provincial bus routes linking Metro manila with several towns and cities in Southern Philippines. The main objectives of the study were to: a) determine the existing supply and demand of buses; b) project passenger demand; c) estimate the required level of supply of buses; and d) determine the corresponding net requirement of bus units.
