Client: Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
Location: Roxas Bolulevard, Pasay City
SMDI was contracted by the Department of Public Works & Highways (DPWH) in 1992 to conduct a comprehensive traffic analysis study of the Roxas Boulevard corridors, where flyovers are to be constructed, i.e., at the four (4) intersections of Pres. Quirino Ave., Vito Cruz, Buendia and EDSA.
The study assessed the traffic impact of the proposed flyovers on the immediate surrounding road network of the influenced areas by estimating the level of service through intersection and network analysis, volume-capacity ratios before and after project scenarios, and traffic demand simulation forecasts for the next 5 and 10 years.
