NAIA International Passenger Terminal (IPT) 3 Traffic Survey, Analysis and Forecast (1997)

In association with Louis Berger International, Inc., SMDI was commissioned in 1997 by PIATCO to conduct traffic surveys, analysis and forecasts of the proposed NAIA-IPT3. The study objectives were to: understand the current traffic movements around the IPT3 project site; forecast future design years, both airport related and non-airport related traffic demand in/out of the IPT3, as well as along the highways around the site for years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015. The results of these projections were utilized to determine off-site project improvements.
