Filinvest Alabang Interchange Project (1994)

SMDI was engaged in 1994 by Filinvest Alabang, Inc. to validate the traffic forecasts and conduct the financial viability study of the Filinvest Alabang Interchange. The project is located at the west side of the South Expressway, past the existing Alabang exit, right after the viaduct and next to the Bureau of Food and Drug. It will serve as the main entry into Filinvest Corporate City (FCC), directly leading to the City Center, where the Festival Supermall will be located. It is a high speed connection to the Alabang-Zapote Road, significantly reducing traffic load from the present Alabang entrance-exit, cutting through FCC and avoiding the crowded Muntinlupa wet market area. It is only one of two proposed major arteries which directly connect FCC to the South Expressway and the existing road network of the influence area.
