PTV-SMDI held it’s second workshop seminar for 2015 on the VISWALK pedestrian simulation software last March 17 at the Ateneo Professional Schools in Rockwell, Makati. The workshop introduced and presented explorations in VISWALK. As a microscopic software, this pedestrian simulation is particularly well-suited for urban and construction planning, pedestrian safety planning and evacuation measures, integrated transport planning and numerous other applications aimed at ensuring a smooth flow of pedestrians.  Participants came from private organizations (Araneta Center Group, Ortigas & Co, Rockwell Land, SMDC, SM Land and SM Prime Holdings, MNTC and Frontier), the academe (DLSU, Mapua, UPNCTS) and the public sector (MMDA, Makati LGU, LRTA). The main speaker during the event was Mr. Brett Little, PTV Business Development Director for Pedestrian Engineering.
